MANIC MONDAY – Already Nesting

pregnant_belly

I am 26 weeks (6 1/2 months) along in my pregnancy and I am ALREADY in the nesting phase!!  I can’t remember if this is normal or not, but I’m already going clean crazy!  Not only that but I want EVERYTHING organized!  I mean everything!!!  I want to go through the kids rooms, the office, our master bedroom, bathrooms, the basement, even our garage.  All these rooms are in need of major organizing (at least that is what my pregnancy brain is saying)!  I also need to make room for baby #4, which means a lot of re-arranging!  I need to fit both my office and a baby in the same room…this is going to be tricky…any tips?  Then to make this phase even more crazy, I am up at night thinking about all the stuff I need to buy or do…I need to get clothes washed and ready, diapers purchased, meals put in the freezer, the list goes on and on!  I feel like my brain is spinning!!  So wish me luck…I am going to let my nesting go to work today!!

  1. i'm also 26 weeks and wish I had even a fraction of the energy that you do! I also have a million things that need to be organized and rearranged to make room for this baby but can';t get the energy to get it done! Good luck!!!!

  2. Repeat after me... stackable shelves are YOUR BEST FRIEND! I did that with my office baby room combination and it was a life saver! They work great for inserting fabric baskets (you can recover old wicker baskets with fabric too!) and you can put in books, office stuff, baby clothes and blankets... etc...!!! Oh and did I mention you can stack them high or low? Yeah I loved that! And they are easy to make if you dont wanna buy them. I bought white and repainted the babys side light blue and used some for the office side and kept them white. Separated the room quite nicely.

  3. You are amazing! Yes, this is normal. But for me, my mind wanted to do all these things, but my body just wouldn't! :) I really think you can do anything! I admire you so much. I can't believe you are already 6 1/2 months!
